Tektronix TDS 6154C 4Ch, 15GHz, 40GS/s Digital Oscilloscope TDS6154C AS IS

Option: 3M - 16 Meg Per CH
Unit powers on and boots into Windows XP without issue. The scope application launches but remains on the splash screen for an extended period. During this time, relay clicking is audible with unusually long pauses between clicks (not typical behavior). Once the application fully loads, it displays a diagnostic error: “Acquisition 351.”
Additional diagnostic testing produced the following errors:
- RegAccess Relays Overloads 272
- Acquisition Vertical ADC Connects 331
- Acquisition HFStep PhaseCal 351
- Trigger Inputs Ch1 412
- Trigger Inputs Events 416
- Trigger Inputs Comm 417
The unit also fails the SPC test with the message:
“The CH1 input has been disconnected due to overload. Reduce input signal level, then reconnect via CH1 Vertical Coupling menu.” Channel 1 displays a trace but does not respond to input signals. Channels 2, 3, and 4 respond to input signals as expected. Overall cosmetic condition is good, with minor scuffs and scratches. The left side has a slight dent near the vent area. For this reason, we are selling the unit AS-IS for parts/repair as a non-working or incomplete unit.
We have not tested / inspected any further, item may have unknown issues we are not aware of.
